Dr. Rui Chen is seeking motivated candidates for Ph.D. positions in IPPD/Agricultural/Applied Economics starting in Fall 2024. AI/Machine Learning Application in Agricultural Economics In 2022, she obtained (i) Outstanding Young Professional Award from COSBAE, Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA), and (ii) Excel Faculty Fellowship 1890 Universities of Foundations. Since the end of 2022, she has received funding from the United States Department of Agriculture, 1890 Universities of Foundations, USGS, United States Policy Center, etc.

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Agricultural Economics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Social Sciences, or a related field.

      • Experience in statistics, econometrics, or research. • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, Python, SAS).
