Jia Yang published a new paper on spatial and temporal patterns of global burned area

Jia Yang, PhD student at Auburn University, publishes a new paper on spatial and temporal patterns of global burned area in J. of Geophysical Research – Biogeosciences. The paper used the Dynamic Land Ecosystem Model to simulate the global burned area and the attribution of different factors such as human activities, climate, elevated carbon dioxide and nitrogen deposition for increased wildfire activity across the terrestrial biosphere.
